Anna Lindemann will present on Gene Network Music as part of the “Algorithmic Arts & Humanities at UConn” event produced by the UConn Humanities Institute Digital Humanities and Media Studies Initiative. The event will feature talks by four faculty members from various disciplines at UConn—Kyle Booten, Sue Huang, Stefan Kaufmann and Anna Lindemann — sharing artworks, research, and scholarship that draw on computational methods ranging from natural language processing and machine learning to generative musical composition. The hybrid event takes place at the Homer Babbidge Library and online. More info here.
