A solo version of Theory of Flight is presented as part of a line up of noteworthy scientists and artists pondering the aesthetics of evolution. This All-Day Wonder Cabinet is guest curated by David Rothenberg whose recent book Survival of the Beautiful (Bloomsbury, 2011) investigates art, science, and evolution. Many of the protagonists he encountered in writing his book will join him on stage at the Cantor Film Center to debate the question of whether nature's beauty is actual, imaginary, useful, excessive, or perhaps even entirely beside the point. Laurie Anderson, Suzanne Anker, Philip Ball, Vitaly Komar, David Soldier, Jaron Lanier, and Richard Prum are among the many presenters.
