Garden Suite is an eight-movement piano piece that Anna began writing when she was eight and completed in 1998 when she was twelve. She hopes that other young people will enjoy playing these pieces as much as she has. In 2000, Anna choreographed a ballet set to Garden Suite that was performed by twenty-four dancers of the Burklyn Ballet Theater Summer Camp in Vermont. The "Dung Beetle," aimlessly rolling its questionable treasure of excrement in "an enthusiastic yet hopeless march," was deemed to be an undesirable role, and the movement was modified to portray an ensemble of aphids and a ladybug.
