Prayer comes from a collaboration with poet, and fellow Yale student, Carina Schorske. I was particularly drawn to the poem's evocation of a bed that looks out onto a swirl of leaves since one of the delights of my childhood room is my bed as high as the window that looks out onto the trees. It is the perfect place for spotting birds, and, at night, watching the snow fall in the light of the streetlamp.
